Oi antres den miloun poli (English translation)

Oi antres den miloun poli

Men do not talk much

Versions: #1#2
Just because I don't promise you the stars
You say I don't account for you
And because I count my words
You say that I don't love you

Men don't talk that much
Write that in your mind
And as far as their love goes
They show it with actions
Men don't talk that much
Write that in your mind

Don't ask for oaths or promises
At your side to tie me
And don't want that with my every word
For me to give you compliments

Men don't talk that much
Write that in your mind
And as far as their love goes
They show it with actions
Men don't talk that much
Write that in your mind

Just because I don't promise you the stars
You say I don't account for you

I saw the English translation that was up, and it was, oddly egregiously wrong at some parts.

It's not sing-songy, it's a literal translation. Sorry if you wanted to sing it in English.

I can't PM "notaprincess9", so I'm gonna have to unfortunately put her on blast here:

{PM}Uhhhhhhhhhh. I looked at your song translation and I'm really confused. Are you really Native Greek? Are you not that good at English?

You translated "Το πρόβλημά μου είσαι εσύ" and "Το πρόβλημά σου είσαι εσύ" as the same thing. And you had a LOT of errors in "oi-antres-den-miloun-poli".

If you're learning, that's A-okay! I don't mean to be mean, but it's definitely not native Greek.

Yeah, that's about it. Just be honest about where you're at. :){PM}
